The development consists of three levels of basement parking, four podium floors containing shops, a restaurant and offices, fifteen office floors, a penthouse and caretaker’s flat on the roof. A V-shaped tower block, with its apex set diagonally across the meeting point of Mama Ngina and Kimathi Streets, was considered the most suitable architectural form for this site. The first four floors form a podium which is recessed behind the tower at the apex to form a public plaza with a fountain, trees, flags and a sunken seating area creating a focal point around the main entrance. Throughout the building a combination of reflective glass screen and louvres has been used to cut out sun penetration. There are four high-speed lifts, two of which serve the basement.
