In 2007 Triad Architects were commissioned by Kenya Airways Limited to refurbish their existing IT staff Block B of the Headquarter campus into an open plan offi ce. The Block houses offi ces for the directors, outstation department, IS operations and development, E-Ticketing among others.
The project involves very specialized installations and interior fi tout within the working environment that entailed; demolitions, air conditioning & mechanical ducts, data system and computer installations etc.
The offi ce is painted in KQ grey, KQ red duotone colours. The glazed partitions are installed to create visual continuity while maintaining privacy and giving an ambience of a spacious working environment.
