GLH Architects of South Africa in Association with Triad Architects were commissioned to design and supervise the fit-out of Microsoft East Africa Nairobi office located at the 8th floor of The Oval building in Westlands – Nairobi. The design creates an open plan office with a relaxed and interactive working environment incorporating game walls, chill-out zones, focus booths, phone booths, breakout hub and meeting rooms.
The design employs simple colour tones and focuses on the rich Kenyan African Heritage by use of artifacts and murals depicting the culture specifically of Maasai. The offices are access controlled with limited access to staff members only. Triad Architects worked closely with the other consultants and managed a successful completion of the fit-out in June, 2017.
