Northlands New Town development is located in Kiambu County, Kenya, approximately 25 Kilometers from the Nairobi City Centre. The site for the development measures approximately 11,800 acres.
The proposed New Town development will consist of residential neighbourhoods, recreation facilities, a stadium, urban commercial centres, industrial estates, urban farms, schools, civic buildings and hotels. It is anticipated that when fully developed Northlands will house 270,000 residents. Northlands is planned with a central spine road that runs over 16 Kilometers long with urban nodes occurring at selected intervals. The development is divided into 6 precincts which will for the project phases.
