The KPCU Clean Coffee Warehouse is located in the centre of Nairobi adjacent to the main coffee mill
through which most of the Kenya coffee seeds pass. As a valuable site, Kenya Planters’ Cooperative Union wished
the site to be developed to its full potential. The building is a six storey warehouse capable of holding 20,000 tons
of clean coffee, but with flexibility to accommodate processing machinery. The building is served by four
goods lifts and has extremely comprehensive power supply systems, and compressed air supply. A bridge
connects the warehouse to Kahawa House warehouse where the coffee is auctioned. TRIAD co-ordinated this
complex contract from inception to completion and successfully completed the project in 1978.
