Rwenzori Courts is a high quality office and commercial building set around a dramatic, internal courtyard enclosed by a translucent, tensile canopy roof. The appearance is modern and dignified with a superior standard of finishes and decoration throughout. The design incorporates several passive features which maximise the benefits of natural cross-ventilation.
The building comprises four upper levels of office accommodation, a ground floor of complementary commercial/retail space, and underground parking. The full height courtyard feature creates a most efficient floor plan which enables easy and highly flexible subdivision of the space to suit tenants’ specific requirements.
Offices are 12 metres deep to maintain cross-ventilation, and with 3.3 metres clear floor to ceiling height the effect is light and airy. In addition, external solar shading protects the building against excess heat gain. At the fourth floor level, a balcony offers excellent views across Kampala.
The development offers a total 5,756 square metres of lettable area, including 967 square metres at ground floor level. Each upper floor of approximately 1,250 square metres provides for up to nine separate tenancies of around 100-150 square metres each.
