After a year of training and preparation, Triad Architects obtained ISO 9000 certification in June 2000. TRIAD was the first architectural practice to obtain this certification in East Africa.

The title of ISO 9000 was revised and TRIAD obtained re-certification to ISO 9001:2000 in May 2004 and 2007. Triad updated their Quality Management System to ISO 9001:2008, in April 2010, and recertified in May 2013.

In May 2016, Triad Architects become among the first organisations in Kenya to be recertified on the new ISO 9001:2015 Standard.

At an event held at TRIAD House on 11th July 2016, the Managing Director, SGS Kenya, Mr. Albert Stockell, officially presented this Certificate to TRIAD’s Chairman, Mr. James Gitoho, in the presence of SGS, EAC- Business Manager, Mr. Kioko Ndolo and the Triad Architects Directors, Mr. Julius Kibwage, Mr. Charles Ndungú, Mr. Paul Oburu and Ms. Cecilia Wahinya.

Both Mr. Stockell and Mr. Gitoho expressed an appreciation for the well sustained, good relationship between the two companies which they observed, greatly contributed to the smooth and successful transition to the new Standard.

To TRIAD, this is timely, and a firm confirmation that TRIAD’s long standing tenets on strong leadership, good planning and a well-appointed organisational structure, are key to the success of any project and undertaking.

We are committed to maintain this mark of quality as a demonstration of TRIAD’s commitment to consistently provide quality services that meets our clients’, statutory and regulatory requirements. (Ms. Cecilia Wahinya, Director, TRIAD Operations)
